Telephone, online via patient access or by attending the practice

Pre-bookable appointments are available to book up to two weeks in advance. Same day, face-to-face appointments are also available for patients with urgent conditions. This is a new condition or a long-term conditions which has gotten worse within the last 24 hours. Some patients have routine matters to talk about. Others may have potentially, life-threatening health concerns that need urgent attention.

We aim to get you seen by an appropriate health care professional within 48hrs. Our receptionists may ask you a few questions about your condition. This is to help us get you the most appropriate care for your needs.

Some appointments take longer than others. We ask for your patience and understanding if there is an unexpected delay on the day of your appointment. If you have been waiting longer than 15 minutes, please inform our reception staff.

We aim to give you an appointment with your preferred clinician. Where this is not possible, we will offer you an appointment with an alternative clinician.

Cancelling Appointments

If cant attend your appointment, contact us as soon as possible to cancel. This is so we can offer your appointment to someone else in need. If you are unable to keep your hospital appointment, contact them as soon as possible. Failure to attend may result in your discharged form their care. A repeat referral may be needed before the team will see you, resulting in longer waiting times.

We operate a did not attend appointment policy. You can view this here, or at your own practice.
