We are experiencing a high number of calls into the surgery due to high patient demand. Your call is important to us, however if your call is for a routine enquiry it would be helpful if you called a time when the lines were not as busy.

You can avoid lengthy phone queues by using some of our digital solutions such as Patient Access and the NHS App. Please ask at reception for more information. 

Our call handlers will also need a brief description of the problem in order that your call can be dealt with appropriately.

We have many different health professionals working at the practice and we would like to be able to give you an appointment with the right person in the right time frame to ensure you get the best care.

If it is a personal matter which you don’t wish to disclose to our call handlers, then you will then be offered the next routine appointment.

Only urgent calls can be given priority and access to same day appointments, other calls can be dealt with appropriately, offered pre-bookable, Community Pharmacy if appropriate or alternative methods of access.
