Requesting
an Appointment

To request an appointment:

  • Use our online form which is available Monday to Friday from 7.00am to 6.00pm. We aim to respond within 48 hours.
  • Phone us Monday to Friday from 8.00am to 6.00pm. When you get in touch, we’ll ask what you need help with.
  • Visit the surgery and speak with a receptionist Monday to Friday from 8.00am to 6.00pm.

We will use the information you give us to choose the most suitable doctor, nurse or health professional to help you.

Cancelling or changing an appointment

If you need to cancel your appointment there are a number of ways you can do this:

– Use Alliance Care, advise us of the appointment date and time you would like to cancel, the reason you’re cancelling.

– By responding to your text reminder

– You can manage your appointment on Patient Access, if you have it.

– You can use the NHS App, which can be downloaded for Android or iOS.

If your appointment is within the next 24 hrs, please ensure you call the practice to cancel your appointment.

Each month hours of GP and practice nurse time is wasted due to patients not turning up for their appointments.

You’ll receive a text message confirmation when you book your appointment and a text message reminder before your appointment.

If you need help when we are closed

If you need medical help now, use NHS 111 online (111.nhs.uk) or call 111.

111 online is for people aged 5 and over. Call 111 if you need help for a child under 5.

Call 999 in a medical or mental health emergency. This is when someone is seriously ill or injured and their life is at risk.

Home Visits

If you are housebound and need an appointment, we may do a home visit. We will phone you first to understand what you need.

To request a home visit, use Alliance Care or phone the practice , All home visit requests must be made by 11:00am.
